Albina – «white»

It is the female variant of Albin. The name is of Latin origin and it means “alba, white”.

Albina takes a lot after her father and therefore should be judged also by her patronymic name. However Albina possesses often such qualities as adherence to principle, obstinacy and arrogance which her father may lack. Nevertheless Albina is father’s daughter.

The adherence to principle of Albina in her adolescence may cause school conflicts or domestic quarrels. At school Albina tries to keep to boys’ company since their interests are closer to her than purely girls’ joys and problems. As she grows up her preferences do not change greatly and therefore there will always be peace and mutual understanding in Albina’s family as she will never object to her husband’s watching a football match.

As Albina chooses what to do in life she is guided first of all by her likes and dislikes whereas the consideration of profitability and prestige are definitely secondary. Obstinacy and arrogance characteristic of Albina will not please her mother-in-law and if Albina does not try to change a little after getting married the conflicts in her family are inevitable. However she as a rule knows hot to get on with her husband. She shares his interests, habits and tastes and expects only one thing in return - admiration. Albina is a good housewife and wonderful cook. She loves cleaning and arranging things in perfect order. She is forgiving and can easily forget about recent quarrel. However she is jealous of her husband. Albina’s children go to different prestigious schools, sections, societies, clubs. Albina cannot stand her husband’s drinking and abstains of practically all strong beverages herself.
